Your First Visit to Khanna Dentistry

On your first appointment at our Geneva dental office, you will start by meeting privately with Dr. Khanna to have a conversation about your priorities, your goals and what you feel is pertinent to your dental health. A comprehensive dental examination will follow to gather all information relating to jaw joints, muscles, supporting structures, and teeth. Dr. Khanna will also recommend that a full set of digital x-rays be taken.

Based on Dr. Khanna’s examination and your individual needs, diagnostic records may be necessary. This involves taking “blue prints” or impressions of your upper/lower teeth, measurements, a bite record, and digital photos.

Please assist us by providing the following information at your initial visit:

  • X-rays (if applicable)
  • A list of your current medications
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to your first visit (i.e,. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

Dental X-Rays

If you have x-rays from a previous dentist or physician, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our office.
