PAYING IT FORWARD WITH KHANNA’S KIDS DAY

Khanna Dentistry (425 Hamilton St. Geneva, Il) at www.genevasmiles.com is pleased to announce we are hosting our first annual Kids Day for families who are less fortunate.
That includes:

  • Do not have insurance benefits
  • Low income families

In these tough economic times, many of us are looking for ways to cut corners and save money. No amount of money is worth sacrificing your health, however, and that includes oral health. I would like to remind readers that brushing, flossing and maintaining regular visits to the dentist not only help keep your smile healthy, but can ultimately save you money as well.

Dental-related illnesses cause children to lose more than 51 million school hours each year. This time and money could be saved by simply brushing and flossing every day, eating healthy foods and scheduling regular dentist’s appointments for preventative care.

Good oral health practices start from an early age, but according to a survey commissioned by Oral Health America, a national, non-profit organization, kids may not be getting that message as much as we think.
Children learn best by example, which means as adults, we need to take care of our teeth in addition to teaching children how to properly take care of their own. Oral health affects a child’s ability to learn in school and can impact future employability. By making good oral health a family matter, we can maintain healthy smiles and avoid costly medical and dental bills at the same time.

Our office is providing Exams, X-rays, and Cleanings for children, 12 and under. It will be on a first come, first serve basis and our hours of operation are from 7am-5pm on Thursday October 25, 2012. Anyone interested in providing your child with good oral health MUST email our office at khannaskids6@yahoo.com.
Looking forward to providing your child with these services!
